Patricia Lei Fernandez-Wistinghausen

Patricia is born and raised on Kaua’i, is from Wailua, and is part of the Rivera-Fernandez ‘Ohana. She graduated from Kapa’a High School and has an Associate in Liberal Arts degree from Kaua’i Community College. Through the University of Hawai’i West O’ahu, Patricia also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration (Government Management) with Concentrations in Disaster Preparedness Emergency Management and Justice Administration.

Collectively, Patricia has over 20 years of experience as a Customer Service, Administrative Professional, Community Leader, and as a Resource and Collaboration Consultant. To date, she has collaborated with over a hundred partners at the local, state, and national levels in areas such as Women’s and Veterans Advocacy, Suicide Prevention, and Mental Health. She has also volunteered and advocated in areas related to Labor Rights, Youth Outreach & Education, LGBTQ Rights, Social, Economic, Environmental Justice, and more.

Felicia and Patricia met over a decade ago while Patricia was serving as a Community Organizer and Coordinator for various campaigns (locally, statewide, and national) and they have been dear friends ever since.

From 2018 to present, Patricia has served as Felicia’s Campaign Manager and has been by her side through four election cycles in which Felicia ran for and was elected to the Kaua’i County Council in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024.
